Valentine’s Day is a really fun holiday, but it’s also full of sweets.
It’s not like I end up eating VDay candy for one day…I end up eating it for the entire week.
Valentine’s Day and candy go hand-in-hand. You get some as gifts and then you also give sweets out. And, don’t even lie, you end up saving some for yourself.
I’ve gathered up some guilt-free sweets for you and your sweetie to indulge in on Valentine’s Day (or any other day):
1.Goody Good
Stuff-These
have become my faaaavorite gummy candies. Goody Good Stuff offers vegan and
vegetarian options. They’re made of natural fruit and vegetable extracts.Goody
Good Stuff candies contain NO meat, dairy, alcohol, gluten, eggs, nuts, soy,
and gealtine…so they’re perf for those with those types of dietary
restrictions.Flavors: Tropical Fruit, Stawberry Cream, Sour Mix & Match,
Sour Fruit Salad, Summer Peaches, Koala Gummy Bears, Cola Breeze, and Cheery
Cherries.I’ve tried them all and can’t decide which is my fav. Yes,
they’re that good.Goody Good Stuff will soon be available at
Walgreens, CVS, and Target. For now, you can get these online at Amazon.
2.Smackaroons
and Red Fox Gourmet-Both Smackaroons and Red Fox Gourmet are local to
Philadelphia. This Valentine’s Day, the two brands paired an irresistible sweet
and savory gift box – Coconut Delights dipped in dark chocolate with
Cayenne Caramel Popcorn (you already know
how I feel about cayenne).Smackaroons are
dairy free and preservative free coconut macaroons.Red Fox Gourmet Snacks have no
artificial ingredients or additives. You can order this gift box online here.
3. Kiss Mix-Kiss Mix cocktails come in a chic little
black can. These lightly carbonated, spirit based premium cocktails come in
five flavors, all under 100 calories.Flavors: margarita (90 calories),
cosmopolitan (89 calories), lemon drop (78 calories), screwdriver (79
calories), and gin & tonic (73 calories).
4. Dosha Pops -Dosha Pops are handmade gourmet lollipops based on the holistic
principles of Ayurveda, which is known as the sister of yoga (hello balance!). Peggy, founder of Dosha Pops,
believes candy doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure, but can be a healthy
indulgence. The flavors have super cute names, such as Chai Me Up, Mytea
Pomegranate, Head Over Hibiscus, and Wishful Pinking!
5. Good Earth
Tea – Sweetly Twisted-Good Earth is a
brand with fabulous tea fusions, that come in a variety
of herbs, botanicals, and flavors. Sweetly Twisted is perf for
Valentine’s Day afternoon tea. It’s also red, so it goes with the whole VDay
theme.
I love brands that have a little
quirkiness. Each Good Earth tea bag has a quote. That little touch of
personality is just adorable. I’m always super excited to see what quote I’ll
get. It’s like a mini surprise each time you tear open the tea package.
