Flat Tummy Tea Time. Again.
Flat Tummy Tea Time. Again. Yes, we all want a flat and tight tummy. I
don't mind a little jiggle once and awhile, but we have holiday and birthdays
to prepare for VERY soon. After much Instagram stalking we find a tea that
is suppose to generate a flat tummy cleanse. After much research and talking to
actually friends who tried these products we found one! Flat Tummy Tea was chosen.
I personally have the worst problems with bloating and energy levels mid workday!
My friends said after trying several tea diets that promise to get rid of all
the issues they all agreed that Flat Tummy Tea was the one that actually
worked. So of course after hearing that my friends tried it.. I just had to
join.
I purchased the two-week trial to see if I
can totally do this! I personally have extreme bloating issues and fatigue.
Hopefully this tea will be beneficial in my life! I will update you every few
days to let you know how it is really helping me! Please check out our social
media for daily updates!!

Be in Charge of your Life.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We as young women need to be in charge and take steps into certain preventative measures to stop this terrible disease. PopSugar has given some steps on to reduce your chances!
- Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight or obese has been shown to be a risk factor in developing certain types of breast cancer.
- Check up on your family history. How many people in your family have had breast cancer? If you don't know, now's the time to check. Having close family members who developed breast cancer increases your risk as well since certain risk factors are genetic.
- Don't be a stranger to your girls. Self breast exams may not have been given a ringing endorsement from the medical community, but you should still be familiar with how your breasts feel and look so you'll notice any changes.
- Drink in moderation. While that glass of red is good for you, excessive alcohol drinking has been linked to an increased risk of cancer. Stick to a one-a-day mantra if you want to reduce your risk.
- Keep exercising. Not only will working out help you maintain a healthy weight, exercising itself has been shown to reduce your risk of developing cancer. The American Cancer Society notes that as little as 1.5 to 2.5 hours of walking a weekhas been shown to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Make it your mission to walk or exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, five times a week.
- Support the cause. Everyone goes pink for the month of October, so pick a trustworthy organization and show your support. By donating time or money or dropping a few bucks on a cute product for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you'll be supporting breast cancer research that will help millions.
- Know the facts about birth control. Taking oral contraceptives is one risk factor for developing breast cancer, but the risk decreases to normal levels the longer you are off them (women who took birth control pills more than 10 years ago, for example, have the same risks as women who never took the pill). Weigh the pros and cons of taking birth control and talk to your doctor if you want to know more.
- Assess your risk. It always helps to be informed. Know all the risks of breast cancer — even ones that can't always be avoided, like starting your period at an early age, having a child after 35, or never breastfeeding — so you know what choices you have. Check the National Cancer Institute or The American Cancer Society for comprehensive lists of lifestyle, genetic, and environment risk factors.
- Don't be shy at the doctor's. Your doctor isn't just there to admonish you when you admit you have a sugar addiction, she's also there to make sure you are knowledgeable about why and how lifestyle choices affect your health. Make sure you ask questions about anything that's unclear to you.
- Relax. Just because you have certain risk factors for developing the disease doesn't mean you'll get breast cancer, or that you should spend your life worrying about getting it. After all, the biggest risk factors for getting breast cancer — being female and aging — aren't exactly something you can change. Instead of worrying, just do what you can to live a healthy lifestyle — you'll not only reduce your risk, but will also feel better overall.

Lets Reset.
HbFit. has provided some great tips on how to reset your life every night before you lay your head on your pillow. Without having a nightly routine you can really cause harm to yourself in the morning. No one wants to wake up feeling sluggish and gross. Here are 5 tips on how to make sure your morning will feel refreshed.
Drink a glass or two of water. Hydrating before bed not only gives you a head start for the following morning, but also leaves your skin healthy and luminous.
Stretch. Unwind from your day by stretching your muscles and soothing your mind. This is also helpful if you have trouble falling asleep; relaxing muscles boosts relaxation and helps beat insomnia.
Wash + Moisturize. We can’t stress the importance of fully cleansing your face and using moisturizer before you hit the sack! While you’re asleep, a clean and hydrated face will help target specific issues like acne and dryness, so take this opportunity to treat your skin!
Turn off all electronics at least one hour before bed. This might be the hardest tip to follow--we know that the temptation to constantly scroll through Instagram or respond to emails is too real. Allowing your mind to unplug is so important to achieve optimal relaxation so switch the smartphone for a good book or magazine!
Make a daily list of 5 things you are thankful for. It is so important to end your day feeling optimistic, so take a couple minutes to jot down things that you are thankful for that day. By appreciating anything as small as the short line at your favorite juice bar or a promotion at work you allow yourself to put things in perspective.

7 Things.
Finally Fall Season is approaching us! I love fall clothes. Honestly, the fall season is my favorite season for fashion. WhoWhatWear has given us a preview of what 7 things we need to look oh so good for fall.
1. The Structured Handbag:It was all about the bucket bag for a while, but currently I'm seeking more structured, ladylike bags to pair with my casual outfits. Think opposites!
2 .The Trench Coat: The trench coat is always a classic, but it's back as a big fashion trend for this fall.
3. The Suit Paint: Don't think of it as just work wear! Envision it in place of your denim. Pair it with your favorite T-shirt for an easy, relaxed look.
4. The Perfect Nude Lipstick: Bold red will always be around but right now, the softer lip is feeling more modern.
5. The Straight Leg Jean: Keep the skinny jean as a go-to, but the straight-leg style is having its moment again!
6. The Kitten Heel: Who doesn't love a true high heel? But this fall try out the kitten heel. A great d'orsay is a classic that's always in my wardrobe rotation.
7. The Statement Necklace: The statement necklace is an easy way to dress up your more casual looks.

So I have to Workout in the Morning huh?
1. Set multiple alarms
When I say I set multiple alarms, I don't mean two — I mean five or six, starting half an hour before I want to get up. If I'm not in the habit of getting up early to hit the gym, my body is not ready for the rude awakening, and I find myself hitting snooze and missing my workout. When you're just getting into the habit, bombard yourself with obnoxious alarms and know that while you're totally miserable in the moment, you'll thank yourself later.
2. Lay out everything the night before
Shorts, check. Sports bra, check. Water bottle, keys . . . check, check. Scrambling around half delirious in the morning is not the most effective way to start the day. I've found that when I can plan ahead and have everything ready at arm's reach, it's much more likely I'll make it out the door and to my 7 a.m. Spin class on time.
3. Make it a date
3. Make it a date
Some days it can be so difficult to get out of bed, especially when I know that there is nothing stopping me from staying snuggled under the covers. But when I know that someone is depending on me to show up, it's much easier to get out of bed and get my act together. Convince a friend to meet you for a morning run, and you won't be able to skip out.
4. Cut travel time
4. Cut travel time
My gym is a 10-minute walk from home (or five-minute jog, if I'm feeling ambitious . . . ), and the quick commute means that I can sneak in every extra minute of sleep possible. Since a longer commute would mean getting up even earlier, finding a gym that was literally around the corner meant that making an excuse about travel time was no longer an option. Even if a nearby gym isn't an option, running outside or doing a video in your living room can help you sneak in a workout, no matter how short on time you feel.
5. Leave no escape
5. Leave no escape
At my gym, signing up for a class and then not showing up is a major no-no that can lead to a ding on your account. So to get myself out of bed and into the gym, I've started signing up for morning classes the night before. If I know there are consequences for not showing up, it's more likely that I'll get up and get my act together. If your gym is more forgiving, make your own ultimatums. Live with a roommate or a significant other? Pay them $5 if you sleep in — when your money is on the table, getting to the gym will seem easy.
6. Don't sweat a slipup
6. Don't sweat a slipup
Some days I miss the mark and end up skipping my workout, especially after indulging a little too much the night before. It's important to accept that I'm not going to make my goal every time. If you miss a workout, don't beat yourself up; just pay attention to what went wrong — were you up too late the night before? Did you just turn off your alarm instead of getting up? Listen to your body, and learn from what didn't work instead of getting upset.
7. Plan a reward
7. Plan a reward
Call me crazy, but one of my favorite treats is a refreshing, rich iced latte. Since they can be pretty pricey, I try to keep this delicious treat to something I enjoy on the weekend only. But I've found that if I promise myself a slightly sweet, strong, and milky cup of deliciousness on the way to work if I hit the gym first, it's easier for me to face the day knowing that a treat is coming my way.
8. Crash early
8. Crash early
OK, I admit it — this is the puzzle piece I consider my weakness. I'm a night owl, and as hard as I try to hit the hay at 9 p.m., I'll just toss and turn until my body decides it's ready for sleep, usually around 1:30 a.m. I've found the longer I work at adjusting my schedule, the easier it becomes, but there are still days I wish that I was able to magically pass out. I've learned that turning off the TV and closing my laptop an hour before hopping into bed does seem to help, so be sure to shut off the screens when you're trying to go to bed earlier than normal.
9. Remember the results
9. Remember the results
I never expected that switching my workout routine from after work to before it would affect my mood throughout the day, but I swear it has. Though I may feel sluggish getting out the door, once I've sweated out my morning weariness, I leave the gym feeling seriously refreshed and invigorated. Maybe it's the endorphins, or maybe it's the fact that the day is now full of possibilities — but I am ready to hit the ground running. If you're struggling to find the motivation, just remember the energy you will feel pulsing through your body as soon as you step out the doors and start the rest of your day.

We got some myths.
We love the fashion world, but we can't help noticing that there are many misconceptions about how it works. For example, Fashion Week isn't all endless parties, not every job is straight out of The Devil Wears Prada, and yes, we do definitely eat. Harper's Bazaar editor Lauren Fisher tackles these myths , but below, read some of our favorites from her list:
here
On Fashion Week: "While Instagram may make it look like nothing more than a stylish celebration of glamorous front rows, celeb-studded afterparties and carefully curated street-style looks, there's actually a lot of behind-the-scenes hard work that goes into Fashion Week... The biannual events involve a lot of running, hustle and very little sleep. (But we won't lie: there's a little bit of celebrating and champagne, too.)"
On dieting: "While we may love our kale and juice cleanses, we also know the importance of carbs. Case in point: the line at Hearst Cafeteria for pizza or burgers and the dessert station always outweighs the line for the salad bar."
On The Devil Wears Prada: "The myth that everyone working in fashion is a complete bitch has stood the test of time. Like any other industry, there will always be catty people, but just because we're well-heeled doesn't mean we automatically have a nasty attitude to go along with it."

We've Got Some Tricks.
We've got some tricks to show you! Have you ever notice that celebrities have a specific trend that they follow that can make every outfit in pictures look sliming?! Well duh! WhoWhatWear have given some insight and we want to share it with our MuseMe followers!
-
According to Leandra Medine, wearing a longer outer layer, “will make you feel like the most slender woman to ever walk the earth, as it so graciously conceals all the shit you probably want concealed, but also makes you feel cool.” We tend to agree! As the weather gets warmer, swap out your light jacket for a extra-long vest.
- On Naya Rivera: Alice + Olivia Long Draped Shawl Collar Coat ($550) in White; Rag & Bone jeans; Hermes bag.
- On Kim Kardashian: Alexander Wang Ankle-Strap Antonia Sandals ($475) in Beige.
-
On Chrissy Teigen: Giada Forte blazer; The Row Roger Sub Jersey Tank ($250); Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Rise Skinny Jeans ($248) in Stage Coach; Chloé Faye Croc Embossed Leather Bag ($2250) in Mahogany; Stuart Weitzman The Heist Pumps ($355) in White Calf.
-
Shop Our Long Outer Layer Picks:
Which We Want Traveller Coat ($82) - If you have any thighs or hips to speak of, a dress or a skirt with a flared shape will likely be ultra-flattering on you. It will nip in at the tiniest part of your waist, and flow nicely over your curves.
- On Freida Pinto: Prabal Gurung dress; Salvatore Ferragamo Susi Patent Pumps ($575) in Lila.
-
On Lauren Conrad: Lela Rose dress; Express Sleek Patent Runway Sandals ($80) in Pale Rye.
-
H&M Embroidered Skirt ($50)
- Highlighting your waist with a belt is a slimming trick that works on women of any size. It’s the best way to fake an hourglass figure and highlight your middle section.
- On Jourdan Dunn: Alessandra Rich Pinstripe Sailor Jumpsuit ($2905) in Navy Blue and Gold Chain Belt ($245); Sandro coat.
- 14 of 30
-
On Eva Mendes: Michael Kors sweater and skirt; Pollini pumps.
- 17 of 30
Shop Our Belt Picks:
B-Low the Belt Promise Knotted Leather Belt ($96) - Wearing one color from head to toe is visually lengthening, making you look taller and leaner. Black is a classic slimming choice, but we love how an all-white outfit looks for summer.
- 19 of 30On Jessica Alba: Pink Stitch Sandy Top ($99); French Connection Sorbet Tapered Trousers ($188) in Orchard Ice; Jimmy Choo shoes; Dolce & Gabbana bag; Bvlgari Solid Gold Automatic Watchf ($5950); Cartier bracelet.
- 20 of 30On Kate Upton: Rag & Bone White Croc Embossed Leather Shoulder Bag ($895).
- 21 of 30
-
Shop Our Monochrome Picks:
- 24 of 30
- While we love a turtleneck, the slimming wonders of a deep V-neck are not to be ignored. Not only will it make your jawline and neck appear slimmer, but the upside-down triangle shape draws the eye down to your narrow waist and mimics the silhouette of an hourglass.
- On Ciara: Helmut Lang Torison Blazer ($387) in Optic White and Torison Pants ($228) in Optic White; Givenchy shoes.
-
On Mindy Kaling: Smythe blazer; The Kooples Leather-Collar Striped Silk Blouse ($265); Zero + Maria Cornejo Tabi Pants ($550); Kotur Espey Embossed Metal Minaudiere Gold ($450); Jerome C. Rousseau pumps.
- On Jamie Chung: Mason by Michelle Mason Longsleeve Wrap Dress ($627) in Poppy; Stuart Weitzman The Nudist Sandalstp ($398) in Platinum Noir.
- 29 of 30
Shop Our V-Neck Picks:
Carmella Emeline Dress ($538) - 30 of 30Zara Knot Dress ($60)
